X Shore offers this day cruiser in an open and a top version. The main difference between the two is the high windshield, which is extended by a hardtop. The latest design from the Swedish shipyard was voted European Boat of the Year at boot Düsseldorf. Its design takes some getting used to, but serves to maximize efficiency. The pre-peg construction for more lightness and rigidity, the painted hull and the car-inspired multifunction steering wheel are also unconventional. In the well-protected bow, under the raised foredeck lined with athermic cork, there is a cabin with a double berth and light-colored wooden lockers. A chemical toilet and a cool box make the X Shore 1 a patented weekender. The battery is installed below the waterline for maximum stability. The Bosch engine with 120 kW (approx. 160 hp) accelerates the boat to 20 knots in 4 seconds. At a cruising speed of 5 to 8 knots, the range is around 50 nautical miles, at 20 knots it shrinks to 20 to 30 nautical miles. It takes around 50 minutes to charge the battery to 80% capacity.
