The South African shipyard Robertson & Caine, queen of charter motorboats and supplier to The Moorings, has hit the bull’s eye with the 40PC. The Powerkat was named “European Motorboat of the Year 2024”. With three double cabins – two for children (or guests) in the port hull, which share the same wet room, and a master cabin in the starboard hull with an office, bathroom, separate shower and plenty of storage space – this owner’s version is primarily aimed at families. As far as the outside area is concerned, Robertson & Caine advertises the largest flybridge ever seen on a 40-foot catamaran. The cockpit with a small dining area is completely protected by the hardtop. Another, much more comfortable seating area is located on the flybridge. Two sun loungers in the bow are easily accessible through the saloon door. With a top speed of 23 knots (2 x Yanmar 250 hp), the 40PC is one of the fastest cruising catamarans and has a range of 1500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 7 knots. Thanks to its draught of just 1.10 meters, the Leopard 40PC allows you to get very close to the coast of the riviera.
