Edito – Fastnet: fifth place for Justine Mettraux

by Pierre-Antoine Preti

Fastnet: fifth place for Justine Mettraux On Tuesday morning, Justine Mettraux’s IMOCA TeamWork Team Snef crossed the finish line of the Rolex Fastnet Race in fifth place after 2 days, 20 hours, 8 minutes and 59 seconds of racing. The 2025 edition of the legendary British race took place in light airs. It was won overall by the trimaran SVR-Lazartigue, skippered by Tom Laperche, with top-class crew including Franck Cammas and New Zealand America’s Cup winner Peter Burling.

Test: Psaros 7.50

The latest addition to the Naval Psaros range is a 7.50-meter DayRacer. Simple, sporty, fun and full carbon, the sailboat accommodates four crew members. Weighing in at 650 kilos for a bulbous 220, the machine has barely been built before it’s off to distant lands. Agile and efficient in light airs, the hull features a double chine. A novelty designed by French architect Olivier Mousselon of Mer Forte, and perhaps a new series to come on Swiss lakes. Skippers tested her before her departure with Mikis Psarofaghis.
