Setting sail for a luxurious escapade into the world-class yachting scene, the Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF) is returning after a highly successful inaugural event in 2023. Hosted by ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, the Festival will take place from 25 to 28 April, showcasing an extensive lineup of over 70 yachts, alongside an array of marine crafts, supercars, hydrofoil boats and more. Testament to the Festival’s popularity, all booths and berths are fully subscribed, promising an unforgettable experience for yacht and luxury enthusiasts alike. 

SYF is a dynamic hub for the Southeast Asian yachting lifestyle, and is poised to ignite excitement among attendees with its exceptional showcase of luxurious experiences. Bringing together world-leading yacht builders, suppliers, and lifestyle brands, SYF serves as a platform for innovation and opulence in the yachting world and beyond.

Exclusive debuts and world premieres 

The Festival boasts an impressive ensemble of over 100 yacht brands and marine suppliers. Among these is a notable increase in hybrid-capable vessels and cutting-edge technological innovations as compared to SYF 2023, emphasising the event’s pivotal role in spotlighting the latest advancements and trends within the maritime sector. 

The ensemble also exhibits a shift toward sustainability within the industry, featuring eco-conscious designs, such as solar panel-powered electric motors of the Greenline 40, Magellano 60’s utilisation of Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO), and Wallywhy 200’s thoughtfully designed glass cockpit, allowing natural light and decreasing the need for electricity.

Adding to the excitement, the Festival features a significant number of premiers, including one world premiere and 19 premieres across Asia-Pacific, Southeast Asia and Singapore. This highlights the significance of the Festival for leading yacht brands in the world including a stellar selection of leading yacht brands and models such as Axopar, Azimut, Ferretti, Gulf Craft, Leopard, Princess, Sanlorenzo, and Sunseeker among others.

Notably, SYF also welcomes new brands to the Festival including Greenline, Wally, Dufour, Aquitalia, Yanmar, all primed to showcase their latest offerings alongside the innovative technologies and hybrid capabilities prevalent among this year’s participants.

Key highlights include: 

M/Y SILENT WORLD is available for charter in Asia: For the first time in more than five years, the esteemed M/Y SILENT WORLD is now open for charter in Asia, providing a unique opportunity for individuals or groups seeking a luxury yachting experience in the region. The superyacht boasts a range of luxurious features, including a brand new 11-meter chase boat, an expansive sundeck, complete with a hot tub and dining amenities, integrated Wi-Fi, and an assortment of water toys – ensuring guests an unmatched level of comfort and entertainment onboard. In collaboration with Singaporean digital artists, niceaunties, M/Y Silent World is also hosting a private cocktail session unveiling exclusive art pieces at SYF.

The world premiere of HH Catamaran: The world premiere of is set to take centre stage at SYF and marks a significant milestone for the yachting industry. HH Catamarans is renowned for its award-winning innovative design and superior construction quality – the ideal design for individuals seeking the perfect balance of eco-friendliness, style, performance, and innovation. The Morelli and Melvin designed HH88 tilts the scale toward luxury, built entirely in carbon fiber but sumptuously finished in hardwood and exotic stone, and equipped with enclosed fly bridge, hot tub, jet ski launch and more.

Yachting premieres: An impressive list of 19 yachts will be making their premieres, featuring Asia Pacific premieres such as Wallywhy 200, Magellano 60, Bluegame BGX73 and Princess Y95.

De Antonio D50, Saxdor 400, Fairline Squadron 58, Wallypower 58, Aquitalia 68, Parker Monaco 110, Dufour 41, and Bluegame 42 will be making their Southeast Asia premiere at the event. The Festival will also herald the Singaporean premiere of yachts like the Rivamare 38, Greenline 40, and Axopar 45, marking their inaugural appearance in the country.

Aboard M/Y GALILEO: the largest yacht at the Festival The 55.7-meter steel hull and aluminium expedition yacht, M/Y GALILEO, will be the largest vessel present at this year’s SYF. Available for charter in the Maldives and Southeast Asia, this awardwinning Perini Navi/Picchiotti enjoys a traditional interior with a contemporary twist, mixing neutral tones and Indonesian influences. Large volume and light-filled interiors are paired with a silent cruise and eco-minded onboard practices, including sustainably sourced products and hybrid propulsion.

The celebration of Simpson Marine’s remarkable 40 years in the yachting industry: To commemorate Simpson Marine’s 40-year journey, they will be presenting a distinguished fleet of six yachts, including premieres such as the Sanlorenzo SD118 – the first of its kind in Asia and the flagship of the Semi-Displacement range from Sanlorenzo. Additionally, they are also proud to announce the Asia premiere of the Fairline Squadron 58. These exquisite vessels represent the latest models from esteemed yacht builders, Sanlorenzo, Bluegame, and Fairline, showcasing the most luxurious and technologically advanced yachts across a range of sizes from 42 to 120 feet.

Daily supercar parades: Festival attendees are invited to experience the roar of engines and allure of luxurious automobiles with the Festival’s daily supercar parade, taking place from 3 to 6pm throughout the festival. Each parade presents a fresh spectacle – with The ExotiCar Club on 25 April, Porsche on 26 April, Lamborghini on 27 Apr, and culminating with Ferrari on 28 April – making the supercar parade an unmissable sight at SYF. In addition, Aston Martin Singapore proudly presents three icons of power and luxury, DB12 Volante, DBX707 and DB12 Coupe, which will be on display throughout the Festival.

CANDELA C-8: The Swedish-made Candela C-8 is the world’s first 100% electric hydrofoil boat, which flies above the water, offering a quiet yet thrilling experience. Due to its efficient design, it is the first electric boat to combine a long range with high performance. Europe’s best-selling electric boat will have its Asia-Pacific debut at the Singapore Yachting Festival.

A glimpse into innovative boating and marine technology: The Festival provides a preview of cutting-edge marine innovation and technology including the AirFish Wing-In-Ground (WIG) craft by ST Engineering AirX, which is a groundbreaking hovercraftlike vessel that utilises aerodynamic forces and air pressure generated between itself and a water surface to reduce induced drag and achieve a more fuel efficient, high travel speed. The 10-seater AirFish 8, which is slated for certification and entry into market by 2025, will be making an appearance at SYF.

Introducing a dynamic new concept: the Lifestyle Festival Market 

This year’s Festival will also introduce a Lifestyle Festival Market, celebrating the diverse interests within the yachting community. The market will feature a showcase of pop-up alfresco stalls with food, beverages, and family-friendly carnival games. Attendees can also enjoy adrenaline-pumping demonstrations of the latest gadgets like jet-boarding, while rhythmic live music and captivating roving entertainment add to the ambiance.

The Festival’s offerings have also expanded to cater not only to seasoned yacht enthusiasts but also to first-time boat buyers. Alongside the main attractions, attendees can explore ancillary yachting equipment, including tenders and various recreational gear. Those interested in hands-on experiences with water toys can indulge in an experiential zone – also offering trials and sea trials aboard charter vessels, seabob-jet and speedboat rides, promising an unforgettable experience for all.

SYF is organised by ONE°15 Events Management, a subsidiary of SUTL Enterprise, in collaboration with SG Marine Guide helmed by Wade Pearce, with an aim to bring together more boating enthusiasts, lifestyle seekers, mid-range buyers and high net worth visitors, especially the young and affluent, who are considering a yachting lifestyle. 

Tickets are available online and are specially priced at S$54.50 nett for a single-day pass and S$81.75 nett for a multi-day pass, and S$218 nett for the 2-day conference pass.
