After the 56 and 72, here comes the Leen 50 with the same trimaran architecture that the La Rochelle shipyard has made a specialty of. With its extraordinary beam, this 50-footer offers far more living space than any other monohull in its class. On the main deck, it generates an interior surface area of 40 m2, including the reception area (saloon/carré and galley), the wheelhouse and the owner’s cabin with its large shower room! This leaves the entire lower deck to accommodate four cabins, two doubles (one with twins) and two singles, as well as two shower rooms… The aft cockpit and forepeak communicate via large, secure gangways. The flybridge features an outdoor helm station and a large saloon with kitchenette, sheltered by a hard top with solar panels. The hull, designed by Bernard Nivelt and certified category A, can carry 3,500 l of diesel for an exceptional range of 1,500 miles at 9 knots. A hybrid engine is currently under study.
