Rhéa 23 Open V2: a successful facelift

by Philippe Leblond

Tuliped bow, frigate stern, teak gunwales… The new version (hence the name “V2”) of the model launched ten years ago, takes up the same classic codes, while retaining Michel Joubert’s signature hull. An efficient hull that’s more playful than it looks, allowing this 23-footer to flirt with 40 knots with 150 hp. The major new feature of this new model is on the port side, with a planking that opens horizontally, flush with the water. This increases cockpit space and facilitates access to the swimming area. The helm station has also evolved, with two swivel column seats (to complete the aft saloon), a more rounded windshield and a T-top (optional). The balconies running halfway along the bulwarks have also been redesigned. In addition, new hull colors have been added to the catalog, making it easy to personalize the boat. The Rhéa 23 offers ample seating and storage, amply justifying its seven-passenger capacity.
