An offshoot of the 29 HB Timonier, the new 29 HB Open “takes the top off” and saves half a ton for superior performance with equal power. Its program of use is different, of course, and less suited to all-weather use than the Timonier. Indeed, even with its optional T-top, it doesn’t offer the same protection as its wheelhouse brother. However, its bulbous bow, high freeboard, high bulwarked cockpit and twin-engine design guarantee safety in rough seas. A mid-length accommodation door facilitates boarding when the boat is moored parallel to the quay. Its cockpit lends itself as much to action (fishing, skiing, wakeboarding, diving) as to conviviality: saloon with kitchenette, large solarium on the foredeck… And if you don’t feel like heading back to port at the end of the day, you can spend the night on board, thanks to its two double cabins and shower room. Once again, the La Rochelle shipyard, in collaboration with the Berret Racoupeau studio, confirms its ability to combine classic elegance with modern functionality.
