Presented at the DĂŒsseldorf boat show, the all-new SDX 250 outboard version, which is also available as an inboard, is a 25-footer that’s almost 28-feet long, with its long rear platform serving as a seat for the outboard motor (250 hp standard). The optional deck covering in synthetic teak and the high gangway make getting around on board safer – an important point when taking young children on board. The rear bench seat can be moved forward on rails into the cockpit, increasing the swimming area. The backrests of the two pilot and co-pilot seats tilt forward to enlarge the cockpit saloon for up to eight guests around the table. A bimini on retractable hoops provides shade for this relaxing area. The asymmetrical deck (a single gangway to port) leads to the small forward lounge, whose bench seating can be transformed into a spacious solarium. This unique forward passageway can be explained by the presence of a small cabin offering two berths and a chemical toilet. The evolving V-shaped hull (21° at transom) should combine stability at anchor with a certain dynamism when sailing.
