The major regatta photo competition named its winners last November at the Metstrade in Amsterdam. Some 144 photographers of 33 nationalities took part, setting a new record. The overall winner was none other than Samo Vidic, one of Alinghi Red Bull Racing’s official photographers. He gives us an insider’s view of the speed and adrenaline of the AC75. He was sailing that day in over 20 knots of wind off Barcelona.
