Unveiled at the last boot in Düsseldorf, the Dufour 44 is built by the same team that designed the 41 launched last autumn, with Umberto Felci and Luca Ardizio at the helm. The latest Dufour stands out for its large glass surfaces – no less than 10 hull portholes and generous deck hatches. The builder claims a clear advantage in this respect – around 60% – over the average monohull offered by the competition. On deck, you’ll find plenty of space to relax, as well as a large fold-down aft platform accessible by lifting the helm seats. Inside, the main original feature is undoubtedly the hexagonal saloon table served by classic bench seating – but also poufs. The galley can be arranged in one or two modules. As for the number of cabins, you can opt for 3 or 4. The Dufour 44 is available with a self-tacking jib or overlapping genoa. Watch the video on our Youtube channel.
