This 25th anniversary will be celebrated on the 25th of each month on social networks. As founder and publisher of Skippers, I’d also like to thank our editor-in-chief Pierre-Antoine Preti, who is setting sail for other horizons, but remains in touch with our fleet as a journalist on specific subjects. In particular, he is responsible for our very substantial spring feature on the 50th anniversary of the Surprise, which is not to be missed under any circumstances. Our special thanks go to Louis Taurel and Olivier Evain, already active members of the Skippers team and well known to participants in the Tuesday regattas, who will share the helm of the editorial line as co-editors-in-chief, as well as the magazine’s indispensable commercial contribution. Finally, the 25th anniversary of Skippers also rhymes with the 15th year of the Skippers Cup, which this year will take place from May 2 to 9 in the British Virgin Islands, where you can still register your crew (here).
