Following the success of the first Nuit du Grand Large organized last year in Neuchâtel, Bonhôte bank, which supports Alan Roura in his Vendée Globe campaign, is organizing a second edition on April 16 at the Millennium hall in Lausanne. Skippers is delighted to be the media partner.

We all remember the first Nuit du Grand Large at Neuchâtel’s Théâtre du Passage last year. The event was a sell-out. Many people came to hear the fascinating stories of ocean racers. There were also round-table discussions with Alan Roura, Simon Koster, Samantha Davis, Valentin Gautier, several ministers and a number of sponsorship specialists. In 2024, given the success of the event, the Bonhôte teams are repeating the experience and thinking even bigger.

It’s sure to be a splendid evening, with plenty of panel discussions on the subject of ocean racing. Among the guests, Simon Koster and Alan Roura will once again be taking part, but they will be joined by Denis Horeau, with three Vendée Globe races as race director to his credit, Élodie-Jane Mettraux, involved in a Jules Verne Trophy project, Mathis Bourgnon, active in the Mini class, and our journalist, Grégoire Surdez, as sailing expert.

Reservations are now open. Numerous surprises are planned throughout the evening, as well as immersive video experiences made possible by the sound, lighting and multimedia infrastructures of the Millennium Hall.
