This summer, the Capian and its panoramic terrace set sail for the Caribbean. With its colossal 360-meter façade, the InterContinental HĂŽtel Dieu stands majestically along the RhĂŽne. After several years dedicated to a major renovation project, this former hospital dating back to the Middle Ages and a landmark of Lyon’s heritage reopened its doors in 2019. Today, it houses 144 rooms and suites, whose spaces have been entirely redesigned around a “monastic and precious” decorative concept to let the natural power of the building’s architecture express itself, while offering modern comfort and luxury.
