Launched in 2017, Amel’s first bi-safran sloop was a minor revolution in what seemed at the time to be a temple of conservatism. With one hundred units delivered to date, it’s clear that the shipyard has succeeded in its transformation. The challenge was to bring such an emblematic brand into the third millennium without betraying its DNA. While the shape has changed a great deal, and an Amel remains recognizable at first glance, whether on a 50 or a 60, the substance remains unchanged. An Amel remains a top-quality cruising yacht, maneuverable with a reduced crew, with a central cockpit well protected behind a huge windshield, with luxurious but not ostentatious fittings, and always seaworthy. amel.fr
