The Norwegian shipyard likes it sporty. With this SR40, it proves that it is also adept at softer, cruiser-style lines. The renowned Espen Oino is responsible for the exterior design of this sporty family boat. The deep V-hull with angular bow and high freeboard as well as the walkaround layout for more freedom of movement on deck and the wide door from the steering position to the gangway leave no room for doubt: The new Windy is made for (almost) all conditions. Despite its all-weather properties, comfort is not neglected. This is ensured by the galley, the semi-protected seating area, the cockpit lounge and the sun deck in the foredeck. Design Unlimited has given the interior a modern design and provided sufficient storage space for cruises. The standard version of the SR40 comes with a large forward cabin with a V-shaped^ sofa or double berth and wet room. As an option, a second double cabin can be installed instead of the central storage space. Two 440 hp Volvo inboard engines provide an above-average 44 knots. With two V12 600 hp engines from Mercury, the SR40 can even reach 52 knots!
