The Multihull Show is the opportunity to see a large part of the world’s production of catamarans and trimarans. The shipyards compete to present their novelties and a large part or even the entire range of their new boats. But second-hand boats also have their place in La Grande-Motte, particularly on the CathYacht International stand.
CathYacht was founded in 2009 by Catherine Relandeau, who has spent her entire career in the marine industry, first alongside Annette Roux at Beneteau and then from 1985 at Jeantot Marine, at a time when the cruising catamaran was still in its infancy.
Specialty: Multihulls over 50 feet
“When I founded CathYacht, I wanted to fulfill the specific wishes of the owners I knew well: listen to them, accompany them from A to Z, take care of problems and intervene at every stage of the buying process. She explained to us the multihulls she currently has for sale.
And the formula works. The buyers are loyal. They buy a boat from her because they trust her, ask her if she can resell it before she finds their new boat in the catalog of catamarans and trimarans over 50 feet that she carefully selects.
At the opening of the fair, Catherine offers around 20 used multihulls for sale. The oldest boat is from 2007, but has been very well maintained. The largest is 90 feet long. Catamarans and trimarans can be seen all over the world, in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, with a few nuggets worth a visit.
