Emeritus Figaro racer, winner of the Transat en Double with Julien Villion in 2021, Nils Palmieri has been running the Centre d’entraînement à la régate (CER) in Geneva since the beginning of the year. He takes over the position vacated by Valentin Gautier. Previously a D35 and M2 sailor, the Montreux native is no stranger to this side of Lake Geneva. Nils will team up with Alexander Ott and Romuald Hausser. He intends “to make the CER a structure capable of preparing sailors for the professional world. We need to focus on ocean racing, match racing and Lake Geneva regattas, which are essential for training crew members and crew cohesion”. cer-ge.ch
