First presented at Cannes 2025, the Leopard 52 is the successor to the Leopard 50, some 246 of which have been sold since its launch in 2018.
In keeping with the spirit of the times, this cruising catamaran is optionally available with Joool hybrid electric propulsion. Hydrogeneration, combined with 1,600 W of solar panels, enables efficient recharging of the latest-generation lithium batteries.
The Leopard 52 also gets a boost in terms of propulsion: the mast is one meter taller, and the mainsail is now horn-rigged. The result: 17% more sail area.
Optimization work also focused on weight, with a gain of around 100 kg compared to the Leopard 50 (this may seem anecdotal, but let’s not forget that this boat is two feet longer).
As always with Leopard, this new model will also be offered in a charter version under the Moorings brand, with management charter programs and layouts offering 5 double cabins and one single crew cabin.
