Im alles entscheidenden letzten Rennen setzte sich Emirates Great Britain durch und sicherte sich vor Australien und Neuseeland den Gesamtsieg – inklusive eines Preisgeldes von zwei Millionen Dollar. Für das Schweizer Team um Sébastien Schneiter verlief das Wochenende durchzogen. Dennoch gelang es der Crew, ihren achten Platz in der Gesamtwertung zu behaupten und die Saison solide abzuschliessen.
