The spatulas are put away and the sails hoisted.

by Olivier Evain

Spring is almost here, and with it the traditional waltz of putting wintered boats back in the water, which has been going on for the past few days, much to our delight. At the beginning of March, and even if the skis aren’t quite put away yet, we’ve put together a selection of boats that will help you, if need be, to project yourself into your boating season!

Video first, with a walkaround of the Black Pepper 0.1. Founded some fifteen years ago, this shipyard offers monohulls from 8.20 m to 25.10 m, and has also built IMOCA boats. For the latter, its expertise in carbon construction clearly plays a part. Black Pepper Yachts not only has a fine eye for design – the classic dog house style on a modern hull is particularly appreciated – but also knows how to build high-performance boats for demanding owners, as in the case of this very attractive weekender, Code 0.1. It’s not a novelty in itself, but the cabin has been reworked to offer the level of comfort needed to spend one or two nights on board. Watch the video.
