The 2010 Prizegiving of Trophée AFYT will be organized: the friday 3 december at Salon Nautique of Paris with Les Echos – Série limitée and the prize giving of „Yacht de tradition de l’année“
The regattas of the beginning of the season have been great success in Med, but also in the west side, with the first Brest Classic Week, where AFYT have been represented by its President, but also for Belle plaisance in Bénodet, and further west with the Westward cup for 4 big yachts. Little advantage to the west for broken top masts: 3 (Pen Duick and Eleonora) to 2 for South (Moonbeam IV).
The calendar for the south continue with:
30 august to 5 september: the new Corsica Classic (Calvi – Girolata – Ajaccio – Proprian – Bonifacio – Porto Vecchio)
15 to 19 september: the Régates de Nice
20 to 25 september: the Régates Royales in Cannes
the 26 september: the Coupe d’automne du Yacht Club de France from Cannes to Saint-Tropez
26 september to 3 october: the Voiles de Saint-Tropez
