Luberon
Whether for a longer stay, a stopover or an event, Domaine Perréal invites you to enjoy a unique experience in the Luberon, where everything is done to protect and preserve the environment. Look forward to intense impressions and shared moments.
The estate, which extends over 54 hectares in the heart of the Luberon Regional Nature Park, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, has experienced a new lease of life since it was taken over by four partners who succumbed to its charms in 2020. Following an extensive renovation and extension program, the 19th century country villa is now home to four vacation apartments and four guest rooms that are cosy, comfortable, elegant and exclusive – sophistication without ostentation. The vacation apartments, which have been awarded three stars, have two bedrooms and a private terrace in addition to the living rooms. Of the four rooms, three are suites, each with two bedrooms. Outside, you can enjoy a tree-lined garden, take a dip in one of the two swimming pools and admire a breathtaking landscape that includes the sandstone cliffs of Roussillon, Gordes and the foothills of the Ventoux. With a maximum capacity of 39 people, Domaine Perréal is a haven of peace at an altitude of 350 meters at the foot of the hill of the same name. The small Sainte-Radegonde chapel, built on its summit in 1551, is a former place of pilgrimage. In addition, the new owners (including a Swiss entrepreneur and yachtsman) have created indoor and outdoor areas for receptions as well as a sales and tasting room for the estate’s products.
There is also the bistronomy restaurant “La Table du Domaine Perréal”, which seats up to 40 guests. The chef couple Lucia Ampudia and Maxime Martinage, who both trained in Michelin-starred restaurants, offer cuisine with seasonal products from the region, including vegetables from their own garden. Naturally, the creative and colorful dishes are served with a wine from their own production.

From the table to the vineyards
Domaine Perréal is first and foremost a vineyard in an exceptional location that produces organic wines with the AOP Ventoux and IGP Vaucluse designations of origin according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. In order to protect the vines’ root system, horses are used and the use of tractors is kept to a minimum. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, the mash is transferred to the fermentation tanks by gravity and tulip- or egg-shaped concrete tanks, clay amphorae and oak barrels are used for winemaking. The wine cellar and storage room are equipped with solar panels, which ensure a self-sufficient energy supply during the day. The wines of Domaine Perréal, consisting of four cuvées, are known for their high quality. They are distinguished by their vineyard sites and vinification methods and can be tasted during the guided tours of the Domaine and the wine cellar, which take place three times a week. The Domaine Perréal also has beehives, holm oaks, olive trees, almond trees, various fruit trees and, surprisingly, around 800 yuzu, Japanese citrus plants whose fruits are currently very popular in the kitchen. In general, “Domaine Perréal is committed to cultivating the land while protecting biodiversity and the environment, and to sharing its experience and its growing area with as many people as possible who can discover the estate, its products and its innovations,” explains the lady of the house. Guests staying in the cottages and rooms can explore the surrounding area using the electric bikes available on site. A varied program awaits visitors at Domaine Perréal from the beginning of April to the end of September: guided tours and events dedicated to eco-wine tourism, concerts and DJ lounge evenings. An ideal place to enjoy the art of living in the Luberon.
